The lens uses 7 elements in 6 groups with produces a nice classic rendering with a 10 bladed aperture for soft bokeh even at higher apertures.

No Lens hood or case. The 7 Artisans 35mm F1.4 is a solid lens , very well built , it has a clickless aperture ring and a nice focusing ring enough dampened. Poids : 228gr. Prix : 90 euros. This lens is a small gem, in that the mechanics of the lens are very smooth, it has 11 aperture blades (not rounded, but you can't have everything), it has proper distance metering on the lens, the focus through is about right, not to long not to short, and the images are stupendous in rendering.
